Marathon have the capability to supply belts in an endless form, subject to customers being able to install on to their production line in this format.
Endless belts can be supplied with a metal lace already installed or alternatively, specific Marathon belt specifications can be supplied with a special high strength sewn joint using durable, high temperature textile sewing thread, providing high performance, ease of handling and elimination of the metal joint.
”The majority of Marathon belts are supplied without joints, and in a useful roll format,” said the Company. “Lacings may be supplied with our belts, either loose with the textile material, or with one part of the joint attached to the end of the roll, and the other part of the joint separate, but within the same package. Basically we can supply what our customers want and best fits their requirements.”
