The MOQ can vary when there are specific technical characteristics involved, or when machinery needs to be calibrated to meet very exacting requirements. Minimum order quantities often seem excessively high and unreasonable
Marathon’s minimum order quantity for non-stock items is generally 100 metres. However, 50 metre lengths are sometimes possible. This is subject to fabric and yarn specification, plus technical feasibility.
Shorter lengths such as 8-10 metres are possible for standard textile materials held in stock, however, the minimum order value is £300.
Marathon understands that one size does not fit all and our aim is to be extremely flexible in our approach to each job and special customer requirements. Short lengths of our standard belt qualities are often available ex stock and belts can be cut to the required length.
